Halo Water Proofing has been the Montevallo area's go-to call for Exterior Waterproofing because we answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind the work.
Halo Water Proofing is a licensed and insured Exterior Waterproofing company built around one idea: show up when you say you will, explain the problem in plain language, and fix it so it stays fixed.
We don't send apprentices to figure it out on your dime. Every Montevallo job is run by a technician who has done this exact repair dozens of times, with a supervisor who signs off before we call it finished.
Call now and talk to an actual technician, not a script. We'll walk you through what's likely going on and get a crew scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Montevallo customers didn't wake up one day with a flooded basement. It usually started small. These are the early signs worth calling about.
A musty smell in the basement or crawl space is usually moisture you can't see yet, not just "old house smell."
Hairline cracks can widen over a Montevallo winter's freeze-thaw cycle and become active leak points by spring.
Efflorescence is a clear sign that water is actively passing through your Montevallo foundation wall, even if you've never seen standing water.
If your pump is running around the clock instead of only during storms, it's worth having it evaluated before it fails completely.
If a foundation wall looks like it's leaning or bulging inward, that's beyond a simple seal and needs a full assessment.
Peeling paint low on a basement wall or warped baseboards upstairs often trace back to moisture migrating up from below.
From an emergency pump swap at 2 a.m. to a full exterior drainage system, this is the work we do in Montevallo every day.
Storm season in Montevallo, AL means our emergency line gets busy fast — we triage calls by severity so active flooding at your Montevallo address jumps the queue ahead of routine inspections.
Call for Emergency Service →Hairline cracks are how most Montevallo basements start leaking. We use epoxy injection to seal the crack from the inside out, stopping the leak at the source instead of just painting over the symptom.
Get a Crack Assessment →Already have a sump pump that's failing or too small for your Montevallo lot? We'll test it, tell you honestly whether it needs replacing, and size the new one to your actual water volume — not the cheapest unit on the truck.
Schedule a Pump Inspection →Some Montevallo lots need both an interior and exterior system working together — we'll tell you honestly if that's the case rather than selling just one.
Ask About Drain Systems →Musty smell upstairs that you can't explain? It's usually the crawl space. Our Montevallo crews encapsulate the space fully — floor, walls, and vents — so moisture stops migrating into your living areas.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We work directly with Montevallo property managers and business owners on below-grade waterproofing, parking structure sealing, and large-scale drainage corrections — scheduled around your operating hours.
Request a Commercial Quote →Here's exactly what to expect once you call +1-866-476-1348 for Exterior Waterproofing in Montevallo.
We start with a phone conversation, not a script — enough to know whether this is an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
A technician inspects the Montevallo property in person, checking the foundation, drainage, grading, and any active moisture before recommending a fix.
No verbal estimates that change later. What's quoted for your Montevallo job is what's invoiced.
Once the repair is done, you get documentation of the work and a written warranty — not just a handshake.
You get a written number before any work begins — the price you approve is the price you pay, no change-order games.
Because we're actually based near Montevallo rather than routing calls through a national center, we can usually get someone out the same day you call.
Warranty terms are explained before you sign, in plain language, so there's no fine print surprise if you ever need to use it.
We'd rather earn a repeat customer with an honest small fix than push a system you don't need.
We document the damage with photos and a written scope your insurance adjuster can actually use, and we'll walk you through the claim process.
Word of mouth is still how most Montevallo customers find us, which keeps our standards higher than a big out-of-town franchise.
"They came out the same afternoon I called about water coming in during a storm. Explained everything before they touched anything. Basement's been bone dry since."
